For the cake dough:

250 g sugar

280 g flour

1 pkg. baking powder

4 eggs

4 tbs. milk

2 lemons

for the cake pops:

125 g mascarpone

blue sugar topping


For the lemon cake: Mix all the ingredients and beat them for about 4 minutes in the kitchen machine until it´s a thick dough. Fill the dough in a rectangle baking dish and bake it for 35 – 40 Minutes at 160 ° degrees. Cool it down and crumble the baked cake base and mix it with mascarpone. Knead it with your hands and form rolls (about 2 – 3 cm diameter). Spit it on wooden picks and coat the cake pops with the sugar icing. The cake pops can also be coated with white chocolate.
